Associate Principal Michael Hensley will join team members from Hines and DLR Group to discuss the opportunities and challenges of building a hybrid timber office building. Its facade features a brick and wood aesthetic that fits perfectly into Denver’s post-industrial development. They will also focus on the pursuit of LEED Gold and WELL Certification, and the forward thinking opportunities of the T3 Program at large.

Advancing Mass Timber Construction

Principal Anthony Markese and Associate Principal Michael Hensley will be presenting at the Advancing Mass Timber Construction Conference in Boston, Massachusetts.  Markese will participate in a conversation on the topic of "Discussing When to Bring in Various Partners During Design Assist to Optimize Design Decision Making." and Hensley will discuss "Exploring the Future of Mass Timber in the Construction Industry." 

Pickard Chilton Associate Adrienne Nelson will participate in the discussion hosted virtually by AIA Seattle. This will be a lively Pecha Kucha style event focused on the value of architectural services and the role of the architect in the future.

Pickard Chilton will participate in the Design and Technology panel discussion. AIA Connecticut Professional Practice Forum September 29th, 2021.

Principal Jon Pickard will join TJ Atkins, Carrington Brown and Dennis Tarro for a panel discussion covering commercial development in surban real estate. Coined by John Burns Consulting, "surban" defines areas of suburban development that feel urban, with walkability to great retail from a house or apartment.
