Buildings Can Save the Planet

As a part of the International Festival of Arts & Ideas, Principal Anthony Markese participated in a lecture discussion entitled "Buildings Can Save the Planet " that took place in Kroon Hall of Yale University on 21 June 2014. Mark Loeffler of Atelien Ten moderated the panel discussion which explored the future for regenerative, climate-positive buildings that go beyond sustainability to actually sustaining and healing the environment. Markese was joined by locally-based, but nationally prominent speakers including Yale architecture professor Michelle Addington, Yale sustainability director Virginia Chapman, dMASS founder Howard Brown, Skanska vice president Al Gogolin, and Assa Abloy sustainability director Aaron Smith.
