Katie Maciejko
Katie Maciejko is a Senior Associate at Pickard Chilton with more than ten years of professional experience, and is an integral team member on large-scale competitions, urban master plans, and the design of several commercial and residential high-rises.
She is currently serving as a Project Designer for the Ritz Carlton Residence and Hotel, 43-Story Luxury Residential tower in Houston. Katie began her career at Pickard Chilton, where her additional experience includes 145 Broadway, Akamai’s headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts; 2+U, a mixed-use office tower in downtown Seattle; 1144 Fifteenth Street, a 40-story office tower in Denver, Colorado; 609 Main, 48-Story Class A office tower in Houston, Texas.
Prior to returning to Pickard Chilton, she was a Project Architect for 1900 Lawrence, 30-story office tower in Denver Colorado and 320 S. Canal, 50-story office tower with 1.5-arce public park in Chicago Illinois, and a Project Designer on One Chicago, 75-story Luxury Residential tower with a 10-story mixed use podium in Chicago Illinois, and Coppia, 18-story residential tower in Chicago Illinois, during her time at Goettsch Partners. Katie also has prior experience on Overseas Building Operations for the Department of State during her time at Krueck and Sexton.
She holds an M.Arch from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, concentrating in Historic Preservation and Real Estate Development. In Chicago, she serves on Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Programs Committee and is an active member with Chicago Women in Architecture (CWA) where she participated in the 2025 Ladders to Leadership cohort. Her community work includes mentoring for ACE (2013-17) and board service for Sarah’s Circle, a women’s shelter (2019-24).
