Javiera Hayden
Javiera Hayden is a design professional with over 17 years of experience leading complex commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects across the U.S. and Asia, specializing in exterior envelope systems and integrated design strategies from concept through construction.
Mrs. Hayden has led facade design efforts for numerous projects in China and a large-scale mixed-use development in Thailand. In the U.S., she played a key role in New North in Milwaukee for Northwestern Mutual, a 540,000 square-foot redevelopment that sustainably repurposes existing foundations and tower structures. She is currently working on the PG&E Matson Block redevelopment in San Francisco, a 1.9 million square-foot complex transforming 77 Beale Street and restoring historic buildings at 215 and 245 Market Street, including the adaptive conversion of 25 Beale Street.
Before joining Pickard Chilton, Mrs. Hayden spent 10 years at Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates in New York City, where she served as Associate Principal and Job Captain. During her time there, she contributed to several notable international projects, including TP-Link Headquarters in Shenzhen, WangFu Central in Beijing, JR Tokai’s high-rise development in Nagoya, and the podium design for the CTF Finance Centre in Guangzhou, a landmark mixed-use tower.
A native of Santiago, Chile, Mrs. Hayden earned her architectural degree from Universidad Mayor and is a LEED AP BD+C, her work emphasizes sustainable design, community impact, and collaborative architectural practice.
