Maxwell Baum
As an associate at Pickard Chilton with experience working on multiple large-scale commercial, institutional, and over-seas projects, Maxwell is a multi-faceted designer leading the design and coordination of complex projects and competitions across the United States.
He is currently serving as the Project Manager of the design of a new 16-story life sciences building in Kendall Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The project is currently undergoing the process of entitlements and city presentations. Previously, he helped develop the designs for the Vitol Corporate Headquarters in Houston, Texas; 900 New York Avenue in Washington D.C., as well as contributed design work to multiple design competitions.
Prior to joining Pickard Chilton, Mr. Baum worked as a Design Professional at HOK in Washington D.C.. During his four years at HOK, he worked on multiple design competitions submissions, as well as multiple projects including higher-ed, healthcare, residential, spec-office, government, masterplanning, and high-rise towers.
Maxwell graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Architecture. He earned his Master of Architecture from Yale University in 2023.
