Chicago-based Gibsons Restaurant Group plans to open a restaurant in River Point, a 52-story office tower under construction along the west bank of the river at 444 W. Lake St., the company confirmed.
Hines is preparing to break ground on a 45-story River Point office tower designed by Pickard Chilton.
The new office tower at 300 N. LaSalle won Development of the Year Thursday evening in the 22nd Annual Chicago Commercial Real Estate Awards. The awards dinner, which took place at the Hilton Chicago, raised $870,000 for the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
